Ombre Powder Brows seems like the godsend for those who dream of beautiful, full eyebrows. But what exactly does this semi-permanent treatment entail and what do you need to know for sure before booking an appointment?
During the 90s and early nillies the eyebrows couldn't be thin enough, but in recent years full, voluminous eyebrows have been the way to go . Women who have been a little too active with the tweezers in recent decades and as a result have to go through life with two sad thin lines above the eyes, do everything they can to repair the damage done. A steady hand and an eyebrow pencil (or gel or mascara or powder) bring relief, others find salvation in permanent eyebrow tattoos (not always with the desired result) and still others choose the recently surfaced eyebrow wigs.
If you think a hard eyebrow tattoo is a step too far but do not want to work with a pencil or powder every day, you may benefit from Ombre Powder Brows . With this semi-permanent make-up technique, pigment is introduced into the skin after making very fine (pun intended) cuts. By mimicking the natural shape of the eyebrow hairs, the result looks much more natural than a fully tattooed eyebrow.
The technique is also gaining popularity with us. Yerelin Guerrero, driving force behind Microblading Tampa Bay, specializes in permanent make-up and helps women to get a few new eyebrows every day.
For those who are considering an appointment, we will list all the facts.
There is an intake interview before the treatment so that Yerelin can properly assess what your wishes are. (the shaping , thickness, color, ...) in short, everything is discussed before we start.
1. HOW?
The expert uses a fine sterile blade to make hair- fine cuts in the skin that are then filled with color pigment. This results in full, defined brows that look just like real.
2. HOW LONG?
The result of Ombre Powder Brows lasts 1 to 1.5 years. Only after 2 years may the eyebrows be updated again once as much pigment as possible has disappeared. Usually it takes about three sessions to achieve the desired result.
3. FOR WHOM?
Ombre Powder Brows is ideal for people who:
have little or no own eyebrow hairs
wish for a natural result
suffer from alopecia
have scars in the eyebrows
want fuller eyebrows.
4. PAIN?
The pain is not much. Getting a real tattoo feels a bit like scratching sunburned skin. This is a light version of that.
5. AFTERCARE?
Do not wet your eyebrows for five to seven days after the Ombre Powder Brows sessions. Use a plastic cap in the shower or tilt your face so that only your hair gets wet. Preferably wash your face with your hands, first your forehead and then the rest.
6. PRICE?
Count on $500-$600, depending from salon to salon.
7. IMPORTANT?
Don't put the fate of your eyebrows in the hands of just anyone. After all, anyone who skips thorough research beforehand runs the risk of ending up with this nightmare of eyebrows. So only work with professionals with a lot of experience such as Yerelin Guerrero from Microblading Tampa Bay.
